It applies to various visa categories, including work, family, and study visas, and is used to continue residing in the UK while meeting specific requirements.

Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) allows individuals to stay in the UK permanently without any time restrictions. It is granted to those who have lived in the UK for a qualifying period under specific visa categories and have met the necessary residency and other criteria. ILR provides the right to work, study, and access public services without needing further visa renewals.
